Travel Tattoo Stories
Do you have a tattoo you got while travelling that you love/hate/regret/has a funny story? A few of our travellers have some terrific tattoo stories:
Funny story: when I was in India on a tour there was a British girl who had a tattoo written in Thai that she got in Thailand. One of the other girls on our trip was Thai and asked her what she thought it meant. Turns out the tattoo did not say what it was supposed to and actually said “I want sex all the time” vs. Some inspirational quote. We never laughed so hard 😂

I have the word “love” tattooed a few times on my body, inspired by travels in NZ and India! I love them…tho I do wish I used a different artist since I cheaped out and one is super fuzzy 🤦🏼♀️
The third is a maple leaf with a swirl around it that I got to spite some québécois kids who I was teaching English to who told me that Canada was stupid. I was like CANADA IS THE BEST and literally got a tattoo the next day. It’s so stupid hahah
